Alternet Enters South American Market
VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA -- (OTCBB: ASYI) The Company is pleased
to announce that it has been asked for proposals for high-speed
Internet
access systems for countries in Central and South America.
Alternet Systems Inc. provides high-speed, wireless broadband
systems forcommunities, schools and health centers, regardless
of location.
CommunityWeb™ is a high-speed ISP system that provides
internet access and all network services to Internet users
in a community.
SchoolWeb™ provides high-speed Internet access for schools
and includes a virtual internet library and learning system,
all in the local language.
HealthWeb™ provides high-speed access to Internet-based
medical information. It also includes a virtual Internet library
and allows the sharing of patient information, pictures and
diagnosis, with doctors in other cities.
The next billion users of the Internet worldwide are predicted
to be connected by broadband wireless networks. Alternet products
provide a complete technology solution for this market, that
is both state-of-the-art and cost-effective.
Alternet Systems Inc.'s common stock has been listed for trading
on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol EJM.F. The
German security code is WK.AOCADK.
The listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange provides the company
with increased exposure to worldwide capital markets and enables
Europeans to trade the company's common stock in euros. The
company looks forward to widening its shareholder base in
the region.
