Alternet Systems Inc. Receives Order
for 14 Systems for Eastern Europe
VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA -- Alternet Systems Inc. (OTCBB: ASYI)
announces that it has received an order for fourteen systems
as the initial stage of the first phase of the Company’s
broadband wireless network build-out in Eastern Europe. The
fourteen systems include CommunityWebTM, SchoolWebTM and HealthWebTM
systems, in addition to a dedicated e/pop web conferencing
server.
The first phase of the broadband wireless network build-out
is for 400 communities in two countries. Each community requires
one CommunityWeb and multiple SchoolWeb and HealthWeb systems.
The network consists of a combination of fixed wireless towers
in conjunction with existing fiber optics and Alternet Systems’
network software / server systems.
COMMUNITYWEB™
CommunityWeb is a turnkey ISP system that provides rural and
remote communities the ability to run their own high-speed
ISP service for residents, schools and businesses.
SCHOOLWEB™
SchoolWeb is an innovative technology solution that dramatically
improves Internet performance at school - even for rural schools
with limited bandwidth.
SchoolWeb’s bandwidth optimization software provides
a distinct technological advantage and cost savings for schools.
SchoolWeb Librarian is a virtual internet library that lets
a teacher, librarian or school administrator build a library
of educational websites and store the library on the local
SchoolWeb server, for use by teachers and students.

to benefit K-12 schools.
HEALTHWEB™
HealthWeb is a high-speed internet solution for the health
care industry, designed to improve the speed and quality of

and nurses.
